Vigilante: Friend or Foe

Vigilantes is a member of a vigilance committee, a group of citizens who agree voluntarily to watch for any infringement of law or their rights and privileges esp. with a view to talking the law on their own hands where the laws appears to be ineffective. To be clearer, Vigilante is anti-outlaws and is ready to kill criminals. As I have heard, whenever a prisoner leaves the jail, there is already a Vigilante following him but the Vigilante doesn’t kill the victim immediately, he will have to wait for a week or so and then, “boom”, went of the guns bullets straight to the victims head(I what I wrote hear is wrong, please do correct me).
There are already hundreds of killings here in Cebu because o these Vigilantes. What do you think, is this just or simply too cruel?
The good effect of this activity is that whenever they have eliminated a notorious crook or whatever, it makes other people who want to commit a crime to back-off their plans or their lives might be eliminated as well. The bad thing is, they also kill people who have already changed. For example, a former hold upper is now free from jail and went back home to see his Mom and Dad. Few days after, many of his friends has already notice his big change, from a scary and smelly hold upper to a bubbly and helpful BBQ seller. But still, he was killed for no good reasons at all.
This made me think that what if someone special of me would be sent to jail doing bad things and come out as another good persons and days after she /he would be killed. That would really make me sad. If only they would eliminate people who aren’t going to change, but the question is, do things have the right to kill? It is clearly stated in the Ten Commandments that thou shall not kill, so for me, that person still has aright to live even though he is the worst guy in the world. The thing is, they are abusing this right this right, which makes other people, like the Vigilance committee, and do something very bad to them but still they, have no right, only God gas the right to take away a mortal’s life.
Sometimes, I just think that Vigilantes are not afraid to go to hell just foe r the sake of the people. I also think that they are the DEATH ANGELS but who or what ever kills someone that happened for a reason we will never know what.
Life is not really ours to own so we must take care of it. We will never now when our life will end, today, tomorrow, or any other day.
The only thing I can say is, to be on the safe side, be a good citizen because if you are good, you will have fewer enemies and when you die, you don’t have to ask your self were will you be because for sure, you’ll be in heaven.
